Vernon Leroy MacArthur

The family announces the passing of Vernon Leroy MacArthur of Woodstock, Ontario, on September 24, 2026, at the age of 101. Born on May 17, 1925, Vernon was a beloved husband to Phyllis and a cherished father to his children: Janet Caldwell, Bill, Ruth Foster, Dick, Glen MacArthur, and Nancy. He was a proud grandfather to his many grandchildren, including Josh, Karin Foster, Nick Foster, Adam, Sofia Caldwell, Hope Caldwell, Kaush, Mitchell Caldwell, Krystal (Cora), Kimberley Brown, Haydn (Lexi), Carly MacArthur, Malcolm, Connor MacArthur, and Taylor. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, located at 845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, ON N4S8Z4. In lieu of flowers, donations to The VON or St. Elizabeth Health Care would be greatly appreciated.
