Robert "Bob" TAYLOR

Robert 'Bob' Taylor passed away on July 17, 2026, at Woodstock General Hospital. He was the cherished companion and partner of Caroline McKay, and the dear father of Mary Ann Grubb and the late Robbie Taylor. Bob was a proud grandpa to Thomas and Joshua Grubb, and a big brother to Marie Saska and the late Betty Blancher. He is also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bob was predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy, his parents Dorothy Jeane McQuillan and George 'Moe' Taylor. He will be missed by his close friends and neighbours at Cedarview Retirement Home. Bob worked as a gravel truck driver in Woodstock for 44 years, and had a love of old trucks and country music. He was devoted to his family. In lieu of flowers, donations to College Avenue United Church would be appreciated. A time of visitation will be held at Brock & Visser Funeral Home on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Friday, July 24, from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. A private family burial will take place at Innerkip Cemetery.
