Marian Elaine Demeester

Marian Elaine Demeester of Woodstock, Ontario, was born on August 11, 1955, and died on August 15, 2026, at the age of 71. She was predeceased by her parents, Jim and Gertie Bruce, and her sisters, Gail Wilker and Donna McKay. She is survived by her children, Lanna Sim (Scott) and Mike Demeester (Julie); her grandchildren, Olivia, Chase Ireton, Mackailyn, Kyleigh Sim, Tristan, Jasmine, Quinlyn, Payton and Bella Demeester; her significant other, Bruce Yausie; her siblings, Barbara Bruce, Marjorie Wilson (Tom) and Allan Bruce (Diane); and her brothers‑in‑law, Bill Wilker (Marion) and Donald McKay, as well as other nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Smith‑LeRoy Chapel, 69 Wellington St N, Woodstock, ON N4S 6P7. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations to VON Sakura House, the Woodstock Hospital Foundation, or the Innerkip Firefighters Association, with electronic contributions to the Innerkip Firefighters Association accepted via the provided email address.
