Jose Maria Custodio

The family of Jose Maria Custodio of Woodstock, Ontario, announces his passing on September 7, 2026, at the age of 54. Born on October 19, 1971, Jose is fondly remembered by his family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Maria (Gloria) and Manuel (Ponte), his sister Fernanda Botelho, and several siblings-in-law. Jose is survived by his beloved wife, Eva Custodio, and their children, Jason and Stacey, along with son-in-law Derek Tune. He cherished his grandchildren, Olivia, Ethan, Nolan, and MiaBella. He is also survived by his sister Manuela Figueira and numerous siblings-in-law, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. A funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Holy Trinity Parish, followed by a reception at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the London Health Sciences Centre, the Alzheimer Society, or VON Sakura House.
