Irma Jean Slager

Irma Jean Slager, of Woodstock, Ontario, passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 62. She was born on January 22, 1964. Irma is survived by her parents, Lena Anderson and Frank Cornett; her husband, Micheal; her children, Steven and Nicole; and her siblings, Georgina Silver (Robert), Beatrice Lockhead, Robert Cornett (Judy), and Leonard Cornett (Shelley). She is also remembered by her mother-in-law, Nancy Slager; her brothers- and sister-in-law, Brian Slager (Martina), Dave Slager (Sue), and Marianne Slager; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Irma was predeceased by Charles Slager, John, Art, Bruce, Vernon, Frank, Ronald, Dormen, Lloyd, Shirley Shute, Sylvia Silver, and Vera Slager. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a memorial service on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions to the VON Sakura House are welcomed and can be arranged through the funeral home.
