Barbara Jeanne Smith

Barbara Jeanne Smith of Woodstock, Ontario, passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill Smith; her parents, Jack and Mary Poole; her siblings, Patricia (John Young), Peter, John (Betty), Philip, Michael, and Richard; as well as her brothers-in-law, Charles Callahan (Patricia Smith) and Jerry (Ann Smith). Barbara Jeanne is survived by her sister, Catharine; her children, Michael (Karen), William, and Patricia; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Greg Borrelli), Michelle (Robert Heer), Christopher, and Stephen; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Eleanor, and Jacqueline. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, located at 1420 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, ON N4T0M7. A reception will follow at the same location from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Children's Hospital at London Health Sciences Center.
