GILDA SIMONE

Gilda Simone (Sguigna) passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 78. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Ettore Simone, and a loving mother to Sara (Sam Vieira) and Deby (Adrian Gouveia). Gilda was also a proud grandmother to Valentina and Mason Gouveia, and Gia and Sienna Vieira. She was predeceased by her parents, Orlando Damiano 'Miano' Sguigna and Edelphia Sguigna (Donofrio), her siblings Ronald, Robert 'Bobby', Orlando 'Ricky', and Marlene, and her in-laws Antonio and Concetta Simone. Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at DeMarco Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 9, 2026, at St. David's Parish at 9:30 a.m., with interment to follow at Mt. Hope Catholic Cemetery.
