HENNING MILTON TEGELBERG

Henning Milton Tegelberg passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on May 4, 1944, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Henning spent his early years in Transcona before graduating from the University of Manitoba in 1965. He began his career in journalism as a student journalist and later worked for the Winnipeg Tribune, the Kitchener-Waterloo Record, and The Toronto Star, where he was known as 'Teg.' Henning was a devoted husband of 53 years to Louise Dowhaniuk, a beloved son of Milton and Laurie Tegelberg, and a cherished father to Matthew and Laura. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Elliott, Casey, Jacqueline, and Arlo, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Private services will be held.
