Walter Joseph Kwasnicki

Walter Joseph Kwasnicki, born on August 14, 1946, passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 80. He is survived by his children, Kelly Savard (Larry), Patti Matlock (Keith), and Joshua, along with his grandchildren, Corey Savard (Gabriella), Matthew Athanasopoulos (Abbey), Alexander Athanasopoulos, and Carly McArthur (Christian). Walter also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Savannah Athanasopoulos, Colton, Casey McArthur, Paisley, and Ella Maheux. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret, and his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Baillargeon. Walter is also survived by his siblings, Claudia Griebenow (Gerhard), Dennis (Diana), and Irene Tiegs (Cliff), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. Visitation will take place on September 24 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on September 25 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a prayer service on September 24 from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Central Chapel. The funeral service will be held on September 25 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, followed by burial at Windsor Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations to the Hospice Erie Shores Campus or a hospice of your choice would be appreciated.
