Velemir Bratic

Velemir Bratic of Windsor, Ontario, passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on October 27, 1944, he was a cherished member of his family and community. Velemir was predeceased by his parents, Zivko and Sava; his stepmother, Stoja; and his siblings, Zorka Ivanovic, Petra, and Obrad. He is survived by his beloved wife, Radojka; his children, Milan (Danijela) and Mira (Timothy Zorn); and his grandsons, Petar (Maja), Aleksandar, and Stefan. He also leaves behind his siblings, Milovan (Stanislava), Milosava Sipovac, Djurdja Zakula, and Milka Bakic, as well as his uncle, Blagoje Zubac, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Visitation took place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer service was held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Families First East Windsor, located at 1065 Lauzon Rd, Windsor, ON N8S3M8. The funeral service was conducted on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Church, situated at 1960 Meldrum Rd, Windsor, ON N8W4E2. Memorial donations may be made to the Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Church in Velemir's memory.
