Vaughan Purdy

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Vaughan Purdy of Windsor, Ontario, who departed this life on October 18, 2026, at the age of 81. Vaughan is survived by his beloved wife, Pauline, and his grandchildren, Kelly (Anthony), Scott, Tina, Stylianos, Henry-Nicholas, William-Elliot, Judy, and Melanie. He is also survived by his sisters, Faye (MacDonald), Phyllis (Hunter), and Debbie, along with many nieces and nephews. Vaughan was predeceased by his parents, Gladys Purdy (Read) and Merriel Purdy, as well as his siblings, David, Winston, and Jean (Bentley). Donations may be made to the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation, in appreciation of the exceptional care provided by the ICU team during his final days.
