Thomas Albert Beneteau (Tom)

Thomas Albert Beneteau, known to many as Tom, passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 68. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marcella, and their cherished son, Phillip, and his wife, Kayla. Tom was a proud grandpa to Bo and grandpaw to Charlie. He is also remembered by his siblings, Marc and his wife, Mary, and Janet and her husband, Joe. Tom was predeceased by his brother, Robert, and his parents, William and Ena. He will be dearly missed by his brother-in-law, Jan, and her husband, John, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Tom dedicated 20 years of service as a machinist at Tech Centre and enjoyed simple pleasures in life, including golf, hockey, and baseball. He and Marcella shared a passion for travel and exploring the world together. Tom will be remembered by his friends from the McDonald's coffee group, where he gathered each morning for nearly 20 years. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a service will be held at St. Joseph's Parish, River Canard, on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation prior at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor-Essex Humane Society or St. Joseph's Parish, River Canard.
