The family announces the passing of Stuart Gunby of Windsor, Ontario, on September 21, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on December 18, 1937, Stuart was surrounded by many meaningful relationships throughout his life. He is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Erica Duarte; grandchildren, Jade Scheffner (Michael) and Laurel Scheffner (James); siblings, Joan, Glenn, Audrey, and Barry; and caregivers, MJ, Agatha, Kirsten, Dr. Kennette, and Dr. Starcoewski. A celebration of life will take place on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Families First, located at 1065 Lauzon Rd, Windsor, ON N8S 3M8. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
