Sandra Simard

Sandra Simard of Windsor, Ontario, passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on January 23, 1942, she is remembered fondly by her family and friends. Sandra was predeceased by her husband Gerald, granddaughter Melissa, parents Earl and Margaret Mitchell, and brothers Murray and Thomas. She is survived by her children, Colleen Guarino, David Simard, Maureen Olesko (Steve), and Gerald Simard Jr. (Colette); grandchildren Matthew, Michaela, Jenna (Adam), David, and Noah; great-grandchildren Ayedon, Vincent, Amelia, and Lucy; and sisters Lois (late Joe), Cheryl, and Karen. Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Banwell Chapel, with a funeral service on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. In memory of Sandra, donations may be made to the Windsor Essex County Humane Society.
