Roland Gerard Thibert

Roland Gerard Thibert of Windsor, Ontario, born on March 20, 1947, passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Eleanor and his siblings James, Elaine, Larry, and Tony. Roland is survived by his children, Marie (Yasser), Laura (the late Stephen), and Roland Jr. (Michelle), as well as his friend Melanie Girard. Visitation will take place at Janisse Funeral Home, located at 1139 Ouellette Ave, Windsor, ON, on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow on Friday from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to La Chaumiere to support the establishment of the "Roland Thibert" memorial wall in honor of past and future residents.
