Robert SCHWAGER

Robert Schwager passed away on May 27, 2026, at the age of 68. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Macri) for over 42 years. Robert was predeceased by his parents, Jakob and Anna, and his brother-in-law, Bill Macri. He is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Henry (Debbie) and Monica (Rob Morin), as well as his in-laws, Anna Hutchins (Frank), Joe Macri (Sina), and his mother-in-law, Maria. Robert was also predeceased by his father-in-law, Frank Macri, and his nephew, Joshua. He will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, Jeff (Emma), Jason (Steph), Daniel, Joe (Amanda), Adam (Jenn), Amanda (Andrzej), Iain (Chantelle), Daniel, Dayna (Nic), Adria (Brian), Seth, and Taylor. Private family services have taken place. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, medical staff, and caregivers who provided compassionate care to Robert, especially the Palliative Care Staff at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, and to Transitions to Betterness for their kindness and support. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Robert's memory to the William Macri Memorial 4th Watch Organization or the Fight Like Mason Foundation would be appreciated.
