Patrick BARNES

Patrick Barnes passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, shortly after celebrating his 83rd birthday. He was the beloved husband of Ruth Barnes for over 40 years and a loving father to Colleen Barnes and Carrie-Lynn Barnes Macleod. He also served as a stepfather to Bryan Brown (Tammy) and Scott Brown. Patrick was a cherished grandfather to Larissa (Sergio), Lucas (Dacia), Patrick Jr., and Brandon (Kaleena), and a proud great-grandfather to Luna, Sebastian, Sunny, Belle, and Kohen. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Dorothy Barnes, and is survived by his siblings David Barnes (Sue), Mark Barnes (Judy), and Pam Zurna (late Bob). An entrepreneur and businessman, Patrick dedicated much of his life to developing residences for seniors. A Celebration of Patrick's Life will take place at Dock & Vine Restaurant in Lighthouse Cove, Tilbury, Ontario, on September 13, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Cremation First in Windsor.
