Patrice Clare (Patti) (née O'Reilly) Lumsden

Patti Clare (Patti) (née O'Reilly) Lumsden passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 71. She was the beloved daughter of the late Jack and Bernice O'Reilly. Patti was fortunate to find true love with Paul Forbes, with whom she shared many wonderful years, until his passing in 2015. She was a best friend to her sister Molly Poirier (Pierre) and adored aunt to Jocelyne Poirier (Jim Tjiachris), Rachelle Poirier (Ryan Elmslie), and Chantal Poirier (John Gibson). She was a fun and loving Great-Aunt Patti to Ella and Oona Elmslie, Zachary and Xander Tjiachris, and Scout and Graeme Gibson, by whom she will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Patti was born and raised in Windsor prior to moving to Oakville, where she met Paul and enjoyed a fulfilling career as an Early Childhood Educator. Patti and Paul moved back to Windsor with their dog Moxie, where she continued her career at The Learning Corner. The family extends heartfelt thanks to her caregivers at Heron Terrace for their exceptional care, compassion, and support during Patti's stay. A private funeral mass was held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, followed by interment at Assumption Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Father Greg Bonin for officiating, and for his kindness, comfort, and compassion.
