Michele Yvonne Weerts

Michele Yvonne Weerts of Windsor, Ontario, passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 59. Born on May 22, 1967, Michele was surrounded by family and friends throughout her life. She is survived by her husband, Albert Weerts; her children, Madeline (Nathan), Derek, and Thomas; her parents, Margaret Bourque and Camile Bourque; and her siblings, Rachel Daher (Anwar) and Craig Bourque (Kim). Michele was also cherished by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Visitation took place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, as well as on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Windsor Chapel - Banwell Chapel, located at 11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8. A funeral service followed on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation.
