Michael Jeffrey Sandala

Michael Jeffrey Sandala passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 50. He was the son of George Sandala and the late Bonnie Sandala, who died in 2020. Michael is survived by his siblings Kim Dobson (married to Jonathon Horcica), Mandy Sandala Harris (married to Kevin), and Greg Sandala (married to Sarah); his aunts and uncles John Sandala, Gaye Emery, George Onuška and Lynda Parsons; and a large extended family that includes cousins Natalie, Drew, Keely, Sherri, Stacy, Norman, Dwayne, Tige, Kori, Kia and Morgan. He was a devoted uncle to Bromleigh, Aidan, Molly, Ella, Seva and Naraya. Michael was predeceased by his mother Bonnie, as well as Wendy Michael, Wayne Collins, Martin Collins and Erline Brus. A man of deep Catholic faith, he was known for his gentle generosity, assisting neighbours with groceries, odd jobs and companionship, and for his creative art and storytelling.
