Marvin Marentette

Marvin Marentette of Windsor, Ontario, passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Hazel Marentette, and by his siblings Janine Salkowski (late Ted), Beverly McCutcheon (late Bill), Alan (Donna) and Michael (Hillary). He is survived by his wife Veronica; his children Paul (Gail), Alan (Annette), Renee Komar (Jim) and Denise Willey (Michael); his sister Gayle Broad (Ted); and his brothers-in-law Leonard Parent and the late Erwin Parent (Jacqui). Visitation was held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A funeral service took place on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Church, 385 Dieppe Street, Windsor, ON N8S 3V3. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Hospice of Windsor, Second Chance Ministries, or for Mass intentions.
