Marlene Brooks

The family of Marlene Brooks announces her passing on October 1, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on September 2, 1939, in Windsor, Ontario, Marlene is fondly remembered by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters, Barbara East (late Ed) and Pat Scafe (late Dave). Marlene is survived by her husband Gary, children Tim (Antonella) and Sherry Grant (Jim), and grandchildren Lauren (Chris), James, Jacqueline (Jeff), Stacey (Jack), and Ryan (Maya). She is also survived by her sister Marilyn Johnston (Joy Scafe), her parents James S. Kelly and Grace Kelly, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on October 5 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on October 6 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Families First, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM. Donations to the Windsor/Essex Humane Society or a charity of choice are appreciated.
