Maria Irene Avila

Maria Irene Avila, born on August 26, 1930, passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 96. She was predeceased by her husband, José Vieira Avila, and her siblings, Judite Parreira and Fernanda Lima. Maria is survived by her sons, José H. (Emiliana), Fernando (Tomoco), Mario (late Ana), and Eduardo (Diane). She leaves behind her grandchildren, Jennifer (Dave), Claudia, Thiago (Natasha), Leandro, Michelina (Oleg), Sophia, and Stephen, as well as her great-grandchildren, Octavia, Alessandra, Isaiah, and Deontae. Her sister, Ester Rocha, and many nieces and nephews also survive her. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Email Notes Parish, located at 3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at the same location.
