Margaret Viola "Peggy" (nee Brunett) McMillan

Margaret Viola 'Peggy' McMillan passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 96, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 28, 1929, in Windsor, Peggy was predeceased by her parents, Wallace and Ellen Brunett, and her brothers, Gilbert and Ronald Brunett. She is also predeceased by her husband, Jack Duncan McMillan, who passed away on July 29, 2023. Peggy dedicated her career to nursing, graduating from Grace Hospital School of Nursing, and proudly delivered one of the first sets of premature twins born in Windsor. She was a lifelong member of Paulin Memorial Presbyterian Church and a devoted volunteer with numerous charitable organizations. Peggy and her husband shared their love of music as members of Sweet Strings and traveled to over 70 countries together. She is survived by her children, Penny, David, Cindy, Alan, and Ann; her grandchildren, Andrew, Shannon, Courtenay, Norval, Camille, Celeste, Lian, Jack, Alyssa, Alexander, and Hannah; and her great-grandchildren, Cadence, Elise, Paige, Wolfe, and Nora.
