Marcia Francine (nee Fields) DOHERTY

Marcia Francine Doherty (nee Fields) passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, at the age of 86, surrounded by family. Born on February 25, 1940, to the late Marguerite (Platten) and Francis Fields, Marcia is survived by her husband of more than 54 years, Dr. John Doherty, her sons John (Nicole) and James Doherty, and her grandchildren Madelyn and Jordyn Doherty. She is also survived by her sister Kathie DeFazio, and will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Marcia was predeceased by her parents and her brother David Brook Fields. The family would like to thank all the staff at Windsor Regional Hospital's Metropolitan campus for their care and kindness during her final hours. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., and Sunday, May 17, from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m., at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home.
