Leonardo Cortese

Dr. Leonardo Cortese passed away on June 12, 2026, at the age of 70, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Mary-Louise Cortese, with whom he shared 35 years of marriage. He was a proud and devoted father to Luca Cortese. Dr. Cortese was the adored son of Angela Cortese and was predeceased by his late father Giuseppe Cortese and his late sister Antonietta Guidolin. He is also survived by his brother Giovanni Cortese and his wife Josephine, brother-in-law Larry Mottram, David Mottram, and Barbara Mottram-Esposti and her husband Anthony. He was a cherished son-in-law of Rita Mottram and the late George Mottram. Dr. Cortese will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and god-children, including Joseph Cortese and his wife Carollynn, Martina Guidolin, Angela Guidolin, and Sarah Cortese and her husband Brandon.
