Kevin Barwick MASTERSON

Kevin Barwick Masterson passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, at the age of 92. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret Anne (nee Richardson) who predeceased him in 2015. Kevin was also predeceased by his parents, James Masterson and Lillian (nee Barwick), and his siblings: Doreen (Dick Margerm), Veronica (Henry Laforet), Jim (Mary), and Terry (survived by Norma). He is remembered fondly by his sister-in-law, Mary Elizabeth McDonald, and her late husband John, along with several nieces and nephews. Kevin dedicated 34 years to teaching history, geography, and economics at Essex District High School, where he also directed the choirs. An accomplished musician, he played trumpet in various local bands and participated in numerous community events. The family expresses gratitude to the staff at Amica Riverside for their exceptional care over the past three years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Families First.
