Joseph Poirier

The family announces the passing of Joseph Poirier of Windsor, Ontario, on October 5, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on March 18, 1937, Joseph is remembered for the joy he brought to those around him and the meaningful relationships he cultivated throughout his life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie; his children, Bill, Sue, Mike, Linda Vanroon (Nick), Vince (Erin), Bernadette, and Ida; and his brother, Leo Poirier. Joseph was also cherished by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Church, located at 1400 Cabana Road W, Windsor, ON N9G1C4, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. In memory of Joseph, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
