Joan Peterson

Joan Peterson of Windsor, Ontario, was born on January 8, 1945, and passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her husband, Dan; her parents, Cecile Latta and Gesner Latta; her siblings, Lilliane Roy and Amos Latta; and her siblings-in-law, Russell Peterson, Ken Peterson, Edith, and Ray Roy. Joan is survived by her children, Brenda, Mark Hodgins, Tracy Peterson, Darren, and Shayana Peterson; her grandchildren, Breanna, Kylee, Miranda (Juliano), Jeremy, Leiyah, Evan, and Hudson; and her siblings, Theresa (Jim Quinn), Katharine Latta-Sims (Jeff Sims), Larry Latta (Francine Lauzon), and John Latta. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Email Notes Parish, located at 3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the same location. If desired, donations to the Hospice of Windsor would be greatly appreciated.
