Joan Leckie

Joan Leckie of Windsor, Ontario, born on December 9, 1933, passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her mother, Bessie Taylor, and her sisters, Beryl, Winnifred, and Wilma. Joan is survived by her husband, Ron; her children, Michele Wright (Lloyd) and Tom Leckie (Robin); her sisters-in-law, Grace McEwen (Freeman), Pat Berlin (Bill), and Janet Dengler (Darrell); and her grandchildren, Eric (Celyren), Mackenzie (Brittany), Jack (Ashley), Matthew (Madison), Miranda (Sean), and Lea. A celebration of life will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Signature Tributes Event Centre, located at 3310 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to the Home for Generations building campaign at St Aidan's Windsor.
