Jerzy Banach

Jerzy Banach, a resident of Windsor, Ontario, passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 84. He was born on November 23, 1941. He is survived by his parents, Jozef and Pelagia Banach; his wife, Bogumila Eva Banach; his children, Malgosia Bontar (married to Krzysztof), Patricia, and Robert (married to Lily); and his sisters, Marysia Skubiszynski and Teresa Janicki. Visitation took place on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N 1L8, followed by a funeral service at the same location at 12:00 p.m. The family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Society in his memory.
