Janet Beatrice (Benest) Piché

Janet Beatrice (Benest) Piché of Windsor, Ontario, passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on March 26, 1948, she was the beloved daughter of George Benest and Janet Benest (Smith), both of whom predeceased her. Janet is survived by her siblings, Lillias (Betty), Georgina, Anne, and Ian; her children, Debra and Dennis (Kim Segal); her grandchildren, Gerry (Amanda), Jacob, Alma, and Kye; and her great-grandchildren, Camryn and Ainsley. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, located at 895 Ouellette Ave, Windsor, ON N9A4J5. A celebration of life will follow on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the same location. Memorial contributions may be made in Janet's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
