James CHESLOCK

James Cheslock passed away on June 26, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on April 9, 1930, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to the late Mary and Joseph Cheslock, James grew up with a passion for hockey and golf. He moved to Windsor, Ontario, where he built a fulfilling life. James met his wife, Shirley Ann, while working at the historic Elmwood Casino, and they shared a beautiful marriage that spanned more than 60 years before her passing. James was a dedicated family man and spent his career in the automotive manufacturing sector, working for Ford and Chrysler before retiring in 1994. He was a proud member of the Windsor-Essex County Chapter of 'New Voices'. James is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife Shirley, his parents, and his brother Paul. He is survived by his son Jim Cheslock Jr. and his wife Pauline, his grandchildren Courtney and Brendan, his sister Patricia, his nephew Justin, his niece Jessica, his stepdaughter Kim, and her children Ryan, Andrew, and Sarah, along with many extended family members and friends.
