Irwin Sinclair

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of R. Irwin Sinclair, who departed peacefully on September 6, 2026, at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus, at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of Elva Sinclair (née St. Pierre) for 61 years and a devoted father to Christine Mills, Brian and Sandra Sinclair, and Jeff and Holly Sinclair. Irwin was a proud grandfather to Josh (Krysten), Simon, Sam (Bailey), Jack, Emma, Lola Belle, and McLean. He is survived by his siblings Russell, Mae, Fran (Tom), and Sandra (late Don), and predeceased by Marion, John (Debbie), and Jean (surviving Ted). Irwin was a cherished brother-in-law to Bonnie (Leo), Danny (Carol), and Joey. A dedicated plumber and member of the United Association of Plumbers and Steamfitters, Local 527, he took pride in his work and the relationships he built. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel on September 14, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Masonic prayers at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on September 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by cremation. Memorial donations to Shriners Hospitals for Children Canada are welcomed.
