Helen Catherine (nee Mankiewicz) Sharp

Helen Catherine Sharp (nee Mankiewicz) passed away on June 12, 2026, at the age of 83, with her family by her side. Born on September 25, 1942, in Poland to the late Piotr and Josefa Mankiewicz, she was the beloved wife of Donald Sharp. She was the adoring mother to Sara Elizabeth Sharp (Paulo) and cherished sister of Mary Dafoe (Ken), predeceased by Haliina Koczuk (late Frank), Frank Mankiewicz, John Mankiewicz (Rosemary), and Ann White (Charles). Helen will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends, including her friend Vera Smith. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gerald A Smith Funeral Home. As per Helen's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Transition to Betterness or the Alzheimer Society of Windsor and Essex County would be greatly appreciated.
