Gospava Gacanin of Windsor, Ontario, passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her husband Vladimir and her child Miriana. Survivors include her son Fr. Tosa Gacanin (Nadine), grandchildren Sofia, Melenia, Peter and Alexandra, and her sister Rada. Visitation was held at Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, 1410 Drouillard Rd, Windsor, ON, on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A funeral service followed on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the same church, and burial took place later that day from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Windsor Memorial Gardens, 1100 Division Rd, Windsor, ON.
