Gina Costenaro

Gina Costenaro of Windsor, Ontario, was born on November 22, 1934, and died on August 16, 2026, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her parents, Carlo and Margherita Casoni, and by her siblings Maria Iacono, Mario Casoni and Elvira Casoni. She is survived by her husband Mariano; her daughter Assunta; her son‑in‑law Vic DiPietro; her grandsons Mark, husband of Caitlin Fenty, and Michael, husband of Gracie DiPietro; her son Dino Costenaro; her son‑in‑law Mark Fenty; her sisters‑in‑law Maria Casoni and Rosalia Costenaro; as well as nieces and nephews. Visitation was held at Janisse Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue, Windsor, ON, on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A funeral Mass took place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Angela Merici Church, 980 Louis Avenue, Windsor, ON, followed by an entombment at Heavenly Rest Mausoleum, 5005 Howard Avenue, LaSalle, ON, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. The family requests that donations in Gina’s memory be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
