Giles McMahon

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giles McMahon of Windsor, Ontario, who departed this life on October 2, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on August 6, 1952, Giles is remembered for his warmth and thoughtfulness, leaving a profound impact on those who knew him. He was predeceased by his parents, Giles McMahon and Florence Ahern, as well as his stepsiblings, Patricia Horkavi (late Francis) and John Ahern (Jackie). Giles is survived by his beloved wife, Carol, his children, Allison and Jonathan, and his sister, Ruth Sokolik (late Ron). Visitation will take place on October 15, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on October 16, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Families First, located at 3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON. A funeral service will follow on October 16 at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare Foundation in support of Palliative Care, Transition to Betterness, or the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society.
