Gerald "Jerry" Lucier

Gerald 'Jerry' Lucier passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on October 24, 1938, he was the beloved husband of Mary Anne for 68 years. Jerry was predeceased by his parents, Frances and Ernest Lucier, and his brother Vern Lucier. He is survived by his sister Dolores Bezaire and her husband Mark, as well as his children Cindy Shafer and her husband Roger, Rick Lucier and his wife Kim, and Rodney Lucier. Jerry was also a dear grandfather of Amanda, Jessica, Emily, Brandon, Katie, Cody, the late Candice, Britney, and Chelsea, and a cherished great-grandfather of many. A retired mechanic from Seagram's after 42 years of service, Jerry was a volunteer fireman for the town of Amherstburg and the general manager of the Amherstburg Cardinals hard ball team. He will be remembered for his love of baseball, hockey, and his many winters spent in Florida. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Essex Alzheimer's Society. A private family service was held.
