George Frederick England

George Frederick England passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, at the age of 85. He is reunited in Heaven with his loving wife of 60 years, Nancy, who predeceased him in 2024. George is survived by his daughter, Nancy Sulja, and her husband, John; his son, Bill England, and his wife, Beth; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Emma, Grant, and William. He is also survived by his nephew, Terry England, and his wife, Carol. George was predeceased by his niece, Kathie Menogue, in 2013, and by his parents, Annie England, in 1977, and Robert England, in 1983, as well as his siblings, Robert, Gerry, Raymond, and Dawn. George was born on March 30, 1941, in Windsor's west end. He had a 35-year career in education, working as a teacher, vice-principal, and principal at various schools. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. James Colapinto, Dr. Annie Kanwar, and the nursing staff of 5 North at Windsor Regional Hospital - Met Campus, and to the Dr. Y. Emara Centre palliative care unit for their incredible support. Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel.
