Gene Sarra

The family of Gene Sarra of Windsor, Ontario, announces his passing on September 9, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on October 15, 1941, Gene is survived by his beloved wife Nella, children Enrica Cote (Doug Meloche) and Frank Sarra (Kristen Micallef), and grandchildren Andrew Cote, Cassandra Melo (Kevin), Justine Cote, Kaylen Meloche (Josh), Collin Meloche (Kate), Ella, Jack Sarra, and Ruben Melo. He is also survived by his brother Mario Sarra (Mary), siblings-in-law Carmen Naccarato (Dominica), John Naccarato (Lori), and Ron Naccarato (Theresa), along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and friends. Gene was predeceased by his siblings-in-law Peter and Angie Naccarato. Visitation will take place on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Email Notes Parish, located at 3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex County would be appreciated.
