Gene Michael Leon Locknick

Gene Michael Leon Locknick passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 70. Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, he was the son of Arthur and Ellen Locknick and brother to Wayne, Danny, Brian, Brenda, and the late Charlotte. Gene worked at General Motors for 28 years and is survived by his partner Maureen, children Leon, Bram, and Emily, and grandchildren Ryker, Isla, Liam, Colton, Brody, and Clara. He was predeceased by his sister Charlotte and brother-in-law Mike. Gene will be remembered for his love of ancient history, poetry, opera, and classical music, as well as his sharp mind and dry wit.
