Filomena Ferrara CASAGRANDE

Filomena Ferrara Casagrande passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by her family at the Dr. Y. Emara Centre for Healthy Aging & Mobility. Born in Agnone, Isernia, Italy to Francesco Ferrara and Vincenzina Patriarca, Filomena was the wife of Giuseppe Giordano, who predeceased her in 2023. She is survived by her siblings, Joseph and Santina Ferrara and Loretta Ferrara, as well as her niece and nephew, Christina and Jarrid Chippett, and Paul and Stephanie Ferrara of Mississauga. Filomena is also survived by her great-niece and great-nephews, Curtis, Olivia, and James Chippett, and Gavin and Avery Ferrara. Filomena worked at the CIBC bank, Metropolitan General Hospital, and the Zehrs Superstore. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simple Choice (Dougall).
