Elaine Sylvestre

Elaine Sylvestre of Windsor, Ontario, passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on January 3, 1943, she was a beloved member of her family and community. Elaine was predeceased by her parents, Ida Cecile and Raymond Cecile, as well as her siblings, Mildred Kirby and Stanley Cecile. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Sylvestre; her children, Carrie and Derek (Michele); her grandchildren, Kayla (Steve), Nicholas (Aimee), Kasaundra, and Jessyca (Jason); and her great-grandchildren, Ayva-Lyn, Mila, Brielle, Hudson, Jack, Lorenzo, and Seraphina. Elaine is also survived by her daughter Wendy and grandson Branden, along with numerous nephews and cherished friends. Visitation will take place on September 25, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on September 26, 2026, at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on September 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Atonement Church, located at 2940 Forest Glade Dr, Windsor, ON N8R1L5. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, East Windsor Family of Parishes, would be appreciated.
