Dorothy GEORGE

Dorothy George passed away on May 7, 2026, at the age of 90. She was the cherished mother of James George and the treasured Baba of Kaitlyn Fraser. Dorothy was predeceased by her children, Michael, Sylvia Fraser, Andy, and Valerie George, as well as her parents, Nick and Angelikie Trantos of Toronto, and siblings Elsie Kirkos, Leta Strumos, and Sophie Trantos. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in Canada, Australia, and Macedonia, and was the adored sister of Tom and Athena Trantos and Fanny Trantos. Dorothy was also a dear friend to Ken Dennome. The family would like to thank the staff at Seasons Amherstburg and Extendicare Southwood Lakes for their loving care in Dorothy's final days. In lieu of flowers, donations to the IRIS House of Windsor would be greatly appreciated. A private family service is being held.
