Domenica Josie Toniolo of Windsor, Ontario, was born on July 20, 1949, and died on August 18, 2026, at the age of 77. She was predeceased by her parents Giuseppe and Giovanna, her siblings Nina (Tony), Rosie (Frank), Tom (Nancy) and Peter (Joanne), her parents-in-law Giuseppe and Italia Toniolo, her brother‑in‑law Luigi (late Elida), and her son Joseph (Helen). She is survived by her husband Pietro; her sons Michael (Cristina) and David (Vanessa); her grandchildren Natalya, Nicolas, Gianluca, Alessandro and Nico; her siblings‑in‑law Augusto (Rosa), Maria, Francesco and Danilo (Emma); and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation took place on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and again from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Avenue, Windsor, ON N9E 1S6. A funeral service was held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in St. Angela Merici Church, 980 Louis Avenue, Windsor, ON N9A 1X9. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
