David COUVILLON

David Couvillon passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the age of 78. He was the beloved husband of Donna Couvillon for almost 54 years. David was the loving dad of Kate Couvillon and the late Kevin Couvillon, who predeceased him in 2010. He was a devoted brother of Janet Hazlett, the late Marilyn James, who passed away in 2019, Joanne, and Michael. David was also a cherished friend and travel companion of Allan and Renée MacKenzie for over 60 years. He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, and extended family. David dedicated 32 years of service to the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board and was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. He also gave generously of his time through Big Brothers Big Sisters and donated blood over 100 times. David loved to travel, both before and after his retirement. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Central Chapel on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment. Donations in David's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
