Daniel LaChance

Daniel LaChance of Windsor, Ontario, passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 87. He was born on November 18, 1938. He was predeceased by his significant other Reunited, his wife Yvonne, his son Jeff (Mary), his grandsons Jacob and Joseph, his parents Jules and Ida-May LaChance, and his siblings Wilmar and Ramona. He is survived by his children Cathy, Allen (Tamara) and Keith (Lisa); grandchildren Ryan, Ashley, Jackson, Dawson, Terra, Justin, Jazmyn, Jonathan and Anyssa; great‑grandchildren Yvonna, Zemira, Matthew, Anthony, Donald, Tyler, Shalyn, Hailey, Carter, Iris and Scarlett; and siblings Ovie, Lena, Frances, Hank, Margarite, Richard, Pat (Noella), Bobby, Kenneth, Marie and Jeannette, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 3260 Dougall Avenue, Windsor, ON. A funeral service followed on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. Donations in his memory may be directed to Hospice of Windsor or the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation.
