Claire Marie Grondin

Claire Marie Grondin passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving behind a legacy of faith, family, and community service. She is reunited with her beloved husband, Eugene Grondin, who predeceased her in 2000. Claire is survived by her children, Thérèse, Roger, Yvette, Bernard, and Suzanne, as well as her sister, Claudette Scamehorn. She was predeceased by her sisters, Lucille Harty and Jeanine Moncion. Claire will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews. A dedicated teacher in the French school system, Claire was also involved in her community through Le Club Richelieu and as a genealogist. She was a devoted member of her parish community, serving with the Catholic Women's League and as a Eucharistic Minister. The family thanks the PSWs at Oak Park Terrace and ALSO for their compassionate care. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel - Banwell Location on August 10, 2026, and at Our Lady of Atonement Parish on August 11, 2026.
