Christopher Joseph Janisse
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Joseph Janisse of Windsor, Ontario. Christopher was born on September 1, 1972, and he departed this life on October 8, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents, Albemy Janisse and Sharon, as well as his parents-in-law, Ephrem and Georgette Paulin. Christopher is survived by his beloved wife, Julie, and their children, Alexanne and Richard. He is also survived by his siblings, Dr. Frank Janisse (Gloria), Philip Janisse (Dawn), and Renee Janisse, along with his siblings-in-law, Anne Duguay, Jim Stewart, Renee, Jim McInnis, Eric Duguay, and Tim Blais. Additionally, he leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation took place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, as well as on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Windsor Chapel located at 11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8. A funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same venue. The family welcomes and appreciates donations made in memory of Chris to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
